Best Teams To Play With In Madden 22’s

When playing Madden 22 just like when you bet on NFL action, the path towards winning has two directions from which you have to choose one. On the one hand, you have the direction of always picking the team you’re a fan of. It’s a great way to show loyalty, love, and passion for your favorite team, let’s just hope that your favorite team is a dominating squad and not one that’s known for taking beatings week in and week out. On the other hand, you have the choice of picking the best team or teams around without regard to fandom, just to be able to show off your best Madden playing skills to any and every ogamipponent that crosses your way.

While both directions are valid and respectable in their own ways, if you were to choose the second one, we bring you a list of the 5 best teams to play with in Madden 22’s famed, sometimes loved but mostly criticized “Franchise mode”. Just a heads up, we’re not picking the Chiefs or Buccaneers, because come on, it would be too easy.

5. Green Bay Packers

Picking the Green Bay Packers to be your team to play with in the Madden 22 “Franchise Mode” covers two very important yet distant factors to take into consideration, football talent and romanticism. If you’re basing your decision on football talent, then you’ve definitely come to the right place. You have the NFL’s reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers who we will mention again in a little bit, as well as “99 Club” member and star Packers WR Davante Adams and stellar RB Aaron Jones all leading your offense, so you’re pretty much set. Apart from that, Green Bay has enough of a solid roster to stand on their own pretty well and play some very good football.

Now, if you pick the Packers out of romanticism just remember that this could very well be the last season that Aaron Rodgers plays for Green Bay before either retiring or moving to a different team. So just like real Packers fans are wanting for Rodgers and Green Bay to go for it all one last time, you should do the same on Madden. If you’re a good enough franchise player then you’ll find a way to groom Jordan Love into being your QB after Rodgers leaves, so the challenge is on.

4. Los Angeles Chargers

Alright, we’ve talked about a team you can take for a win-now before everything implodes scenario with the Packers. Now, we bring you a team where your coaching and managerial skills will surely be put to the test because if this team can find all the right grooves, believe me, you’ll have a winning franchise for years.

The Los Angeles Chargers, led by young QB sensation Justin Herbert and who is also surrounded by some very good weapons both on offense and defense could very well be the team that allows you to become a legend in Madden 22. Keep Herbert playing at his best level and get the best out of players like Derwin James, Keenan Allen, and Joey Bosa and you will have a team that if worked on properly will surely become a title-winning powerhouse in the gaming.

3. San Francisco 49ers

With the great rookie QB class that is entering this NFL season, picking the one team where Madden players could get the most benefit out of what one of the top rookie QBs will do was hard at first, but then, just by remembering what Trey Lance will be working with in San Francisco, the decision was not that hard anymore. While yes, we could have picked Trevor Lawrence’s Jaguars, Zach Wilson’s Jets, Justin Fields’ Bears, or Mac Jones’ Patriots, no team is as ready to become the perfect dominant squad for their rookie ball slinger better than San Francisco.

Their defense is top-notch and with Lance playing alongside guys like Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle, this team could be seriously looking at making a title run in the NFC in real life and it could allow you to make your own personal title run in the video game with a level of excitement that only the Niners can give.

2. Los Angeles Rams

Let’s see, you have DT Aaron Donald with a 99 rating in the game and CB Jalen Ramsey, also with a 99 rating in the game both commanding your defense, plus you have QB Matthew Stafford on a redemption path to show everyone around why he’s one of the best QBs in the league. I don’t know about you, but if that’s just some of what the Los Angeles Rams have to offer their fans, both in real life and in Madden 22 then definitely sign me up.

The Rams, who were once known as “The Greatest Show on Turf” are looking to relive those glory days but in Los Angeles instead of St. Louis, and with all the explosiveness they will surely bring to the field every time they play, taking them as your franchise team on Madden will almost make you an automatic winner in all categories of the game.

1. Buffalo Bills

Our number one pick definitely has to go for a team that is literally the football personalization of Drake’s famous “started from the bottom, now we’re here” line. The Buffalo Bills, led by all-star and MVP candidate QB Josh Allen, as well as superstar WR Stefon Diggs have gone from being an afterthought for every football fan in the NFL as well as in Madden to becoming one of the best, most exciting, and freshest teams in the league and the game.

Why Josh Allen was not given a higher rating for this edition of Madden is something that has baffled fans all around and has been heavily criticized, but if he plays at the same level or even better than how he played last season his rating should be skyrocketing as fast as anyone could say “Bills Mafia”. If you want a team that can truly give the Chiefs a run for their money, take the Bills, you won’t regret it.
